The Role

Manager, Investigator Grants (IG) – Forecasting is responsible for leading the development, continuous improvement, tracking and maintenance of grant forecasting while supporting various systems and global teams related to IG Forecasting delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a direct Line Manager for IG Forecasting team members
• Lead the overall development, delivery and maintenance of forecasting tools, processes, and deliverables
• Track and monitor FTE resourcing and team output reports
• Analyze operational project data as it pertains to relevant financial metrics
• Prepare and present financial reports and analyses
• Maintain portfolio-level financial forecasts
• Establish close relationships with IG Planning, Clinical Payments, Project Management and Site Activation to ensure accurate, complete and timely deliveries
• Lead the development and maintenance of processes, policies, SOPs and associated documents
• Oversee team of IG Forecasting Analysts working with Project Management to determine monthly invoicing and accruals
• Manage vendor relationships and licensing strategy pertaining to IG Forecasting tools
• Train and mentor IG Forecasting team members on communication, applicable tools, and processes
• Provide expert guidance in the development and rollout of process improvement initiatives
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of all IG Forecasting task tracking
• Assist other departments in leading or participating in departmental initiatives
