About the role
Accountabilities
- Own the global partner marketing function, including strategy, budget, standards, operating model, resourcing, and the team structure required as the partner ecosystem grows.
- Develop and maintain the annual Global Partner Marketing Plan, defining investment allocation, pipeline targets, priorities, and marketing motions across partner tiers and geographies.
- Act as the marketing counterpart to senior alliances leadership, helping shape ecosystem go-to-market strategy and leading quarterly planning and reporting.
- Own measurement of partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, MDF return on investment, partner portal adoption, engagement, and other relevant performance indicators.
- Translate partner program requirements into scalable campaigns and marketing motions that partners can execute independently or jointly with the organization.
- Manage the partner marketing calendar in alignment with corporate campaigns, product launches, field marketing priorities, and regional market needs.
- Partner with program and operations leaders to develop joint demand-generation initiatives, manage partner lead flows, and track resulting pipeline.
- Lead partner-facing communications, ensuring partners remain informed, engaged, and equipped with the resources they need to succeed.
- Govern and optimize the Partner Portal, maintaining relevant and accessible content across partner tiers and types while driving adoption and engagement.
- Own partner-facing messaging and content, including web presence, partner value propositions, sales assets, and a comprehensive partner asset library.
- Manage the global Partner MDF program from design and eligibility through approvals, activity tracking, compliance, and ROI reporting.
- Develop and execute MDF-funded co-marketing programs that strengthen brand awareness and generate pipeline for both the organization and its partners.
- Define and execute the partner event strategy across summits, industry events, webinars, roadshows, and partner tracks in collaboration with field marketing, events, and regional teams.
- Ensure partner activations include effective follow-up strategies that convert engagement into qualified opportunities and measurable business outcomes.
- Establish scalable processes, standards, and operating rhythms that allow partner marketing to grow beyond individual contributors.
- 8+ years of experience in partner, channel, or ecosystem marketing, ideally within B2B SaaS, technology, or open-source software environments.
- Proven track record of building and scaling global partner marketing programs, with measurable results in pipeline generation and ecosystem growth.
- Leadership experience through managing or mentoring marketers, leading a partner marketing function, or serving as the senior partner marketing leader within an organization.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of partner marketing tools and practices, including PRM platforms, MDF programs, co-marketing budgets, and ROI measurement.
- Familiarity with core marketing technologies such as Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Asana, or comparable platforms.
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach, with the ability to interpret pipeline reporting, MDF performance, portal engagement, and other marketing metrics.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, partner executives, internal teams, and regional stakeholders.
- Ability to develop compelling partner-facing content and messaging for diverse audiences, including business stakeholders and technical or developer communities.
- Global mindset with a strong understanding of regional differences and market dynamics across EMEA, the Americas, and APAC.
- Builder mentality with the ability and enthusiasm to establish strategies, processes, operating models, and eventually teams from the ground up.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple strategic and executional workstreams across time zones.
- Comfortable working hands-on in an environment where strategic planning and direct execution are both required.
- Familiarity with developer tools, container technology, cloud-native ecosystems, or related technical markets is a strong advantage.
- EU compensation of €95,900–€137,000 plus equity.
