Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and analytically rigorous finance manager to join our team as Manager, FP&A – Corporate, reporting to the Director of Corporate FP&A and working remotely in the US.
This role is the operational engine of Corporate FP&A. You will own the systems and processes that keep the function running with precision — managing our Adaptive Planning environment, anchoring internal and external financial reporting, and maintaining the company’s headcount plan and forecast. You will partner directly with the CFO and FP&A leadership on high-visibility financial projects, and you will develop one Senior Financial Analyst whose growth is your responsibility. The right candidate is organized without being rigid, technical without losing sight of the story, and confident enough to own their outputs while collaborative enough to serve stakeholders across the business.
Commitments
- Build upon and maintain forecasting and reporting methodologies for all corporate-level functions, targeting and sustaining 95% forecast accuracy.
- Own the company’s headcount plan and forecast end-to-end — maintaining accuracy, coordinating with HR and department leaders, and surfacing headcount-driven variance in every reporting cycle.
- Serve as the lead administrator and subject-matter expert for Adaptive Planning, driving systems improvements that increase model reliability, reporting speed, and cross-functional usability.
- Enable the executive team with modeling and scenario builds for strategic financial decisions, delivering work that is clear, timely, and decision-ready.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Reporting — Internal & External
- Own the design, production, and continuous improvement of internal financial reporting packages for FP&A leadership, the CFO, and department heads, using Adaptive Planning and BI tools.
- Support external reporting requirements, including preparation of financial data, schedules, and supporting analysis for board materials, lender reporting, and other external stakeholders.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators across revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and balance sheet metrics, translating findings into actionable management insight.
- Deliver variance analysis and financial commentary that is accurate, concise, and calibrated to the audience.
Headcount Planning & Forecasting
- Manage the company-wide headcount plan and rolling forecast, coordinating inputs from HR and department leaders and ensuring alignment between headcount and OpEx models.
- Build and maintain driver-based headcount models inside Adaptive Planning that reflect hiring plans, attrition assumptions, and compensation cost structures.
- Identify and surface headcount-driven variances each period, partnering with business partners to understand root cause and update forward projections.
Systems Management
- Serve as a primary Adaptive Planning administrator — maintaining model integrity, managing dimension structures, supporting user access, and leading enhancements that improve forecasting speed and reliability.
