About the role
Accountabilities:
- Answer inbound reservation calls and assist guests in both English and French with room, suite, and package bookings across luxury hospitality properties.
- Listen actively to understand guest preferences, travel plans, and expectations, then provide personalized recommendations that enhance their stay.
- Use consultative selling techniques to confidently present premium room, suite, package, and experience options when appropriate.
- Create warm, genuine, and memorable guest interactions by adapting your communication style and recommendations to each traveler.
- Provide accurate, efficient, and professional service while navigating multiple reservation and customer service systems.
- Represent responsible, ethical, sustainable, and guest-focused hospitality practices in every interaction.
- Make informed decisions, take initiative, resolve guest needs effectively, and contribute positively to team performance.
- Build lasting guest relationships by delivering a consistently high-quality experience that encourages satisfaction and loyalty.
- Professional-level fluency in both English and French, with the ability to communicate confidently with guests in both languages.
- Strong verbal communication, listening, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the professionalism expected in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Experience and/or education in hospitality, tourism, sales, customer service, or contact centre operations is preferred.
- A genuine passion for travel, luxury experiences, hospitality, and helping others.
- Confidence, initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisions while working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to navigate multiple software systems simultaneously while maintaining an efficient, personalized, and engaging guest experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work full-time in Canada.
- Must be available for a full-time, permanent schedule primarily from 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM, including weekends and holidays, with periodic weekends off.
- Must reside and work in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Ontario, or Québec.
- Must be able to complete 4.5 weeks of fully paid onsite training in Moncton; travel and accommodation are provided for qualified candidates.
- For the remote portion of the role, must have a suitable home workspace and a reliable high-speed wired internet connection; wireless and satellite connections are not permitted.
- $21.35/hour, including a $1.50/hour premium for French-language proficiency.
- Additional $1.00/hour shift premium for hours worked after midnight.
- $300 annual wellness subsidy.
- 4 weeks of paid vacation and 13 paid statutory holidays.
- Fully paid initial training.
- 1 paid volunteer day per year.
- Predictable scheduling with 2 consecutive days off and periodic weekends off.
- Remote work flexibility following successful completion of the 4.5-week onsite training program in Moncton.
