About the role
Accountabilities:
- Support routine employee lifecycle transactions and processes, including job changes, transfers, terminations, and other employee updates.
- Enter, update, and validate employee lifecycle information across HRIS and related systems while following established procedures.
- Identify basic data discrepancies, correct errors where appropriate, and escalate more complex issues to senior team members.
- Provide Tier 1 support for routine lifecycle-related questions and help maintain service continuity during periods of higher activity.
- Assist with testing system updates, enhancements, and process changes to help ensure accurate implementation.
- Compile and organize lifecycle data from HR systems and reporting tools to support operational reporting.
- Prepare basic reports, tables, and summaries using Excel and other appropriate tools.
- Identify simple trends, inconsistencies, or data-quality concerns and escalate findings for further review.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of standard operating procedures, process guides, job aids, and other documentation.
- Review documentation and processes for accuracy and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement.
- Support lifecycle initiatives and assigned project tasks by gathering information, tracking deliverables, and providing status updates.
- Collaborate with HR teams and other stakeholders as needed, escalating risks, blockers, or questions when additional guidance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- 0–2 years of experience in HR, operations, data support, administration, or a related environment.
- Internship, academic, or practical exposure to HR systems, employee data, reporting, or business operations is a plus.
- Basic understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle activities, or strong willingness and ability to learn these concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes accurately and consistently.
- Foundational analytical skills and comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and structured information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn new systems, tools, workflows, and processes quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and priorities in a structured, fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset, with the confidence to ask questions, seek guidance, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and regularly operate computers, phone systems, keyboards, and multiple software applications.
