The Opportunity
Midi Health is looking for a Licensing Specialist (Contractor) to help establish a strong foundation and best-practice workflows for our licensing efforts. Reporting to the Manager of Licensing & Credentialing, this role will support and drive licensing-related projects across multiple states.
As a growing startup, this role requires adaptability — licensing priorities and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs. The Licensing Specialist (Contractor) will play a key role in supporting provider onboarding, managing licensure processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable state regulations, including collaborative practice agreement requirements where applicable.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end provider licensing, including application preparation, submission, and follow-up across multiple states
- Coordinate and track licensing timelines, proactively following up to avoid delays
- Assist with the development and maintenance of workflows and processes for licensing operations
- Support the execution and management of Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs) across applicable states
- Ensure compliance with state-specific CPA requirements, including supervision ratios, documentation, and renewal timelines
- Proactively follow up with providers and collaborating physicians to obtain required CPA documentation and signatures
- Coordinate the preparation, distribution, and completion of CPA agreements via DocuSign
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CPA and licensing records within Verifiable and internal tracking systems
- Monitor CPA expiration dates and ensure timely renewals and updates
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure CPA requirements are met prior to provider activation
- Provide subject matter expertise on licensing requirements, including collaborative practice agreements (CPAs) and state-specific regulations
