About the Team

The Product Catalog team owns the product data that powers the Stitch Fix ecosystem. We are a multidisciplinary team of full-stack and MDM engineers who ensure catalog data is governed, trusted, and delivered reliably at scale across the company.

About the Role

As a Lead MDM Engineer (Stibo STEP), you will be a hands-on technical owner of Stitch Fix’s Stibo STEP platform, sitting at the intersection of engineering, merchandising, styling, and operations.

We’re excited about you because…

• You have 7+ years of hands-on experience with the Stibo STEP MDM/PIM platform in a retail or eCommerce environment.
• You have 2+ years of experience as a technical leader, including leading projects and owning delivery outcomes.
• You bring strong technical depth across STEP configuration, JavaScript-based business rules, SQL, and data modeling, with a strong grasp of REST APIs and integration patterns (e.g., Kafka, ETL processes).
• You have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to identify data-driven and holistic solutions.
• You can break down complex business needs into actionable plans, prioritizing high-impact work, and clearly communicating decisions and tradeoffs to technical and business partners.
• You take ownership of operational excellence by participating in on-call rotations, resolving production incidents, and improving system reliability.
