About the Role

As Lead Paid Search / SEA, you will take on the technical leadership of our Paid Search division. You will develop strategies, set standards, coach colleagues, and ensure we deliver not just operational excellence but advance Paid Search to the next level.

This is a 100% remote role with genuine creative freedom: You will not only optimize campaigns but shape how modern Paid Search is thought about, implemented, and developed at our company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our Paid Search division technically and take responsibility for complex, international customer accounts
  • Develop modern Paid Search and full-funnel strategies – data-driven, cross-channel, with a focus on sustainable growth
  • Translate strategic goals into clear priorities for operational implementation and ensure resources are deployed where they have the greatest impact
  • Build a strong testing and learning culture: with hypotheses, experiments, clear learnings, and concrete recommendations
  • Test new platform features, formats, automation, and AI capabilities and turn them into scalable standards for team and clients
  • Advise clients and internal stakeholders as a strategic partner for performance, growth, and development
  • Set technical standards for methods, quality, account structures, and strategic approaches in Paid Search
  • Coach and professionally develop colleagues and strengthen the team in daily operations
  • Bring our Paid Search expertise to pitches, client presentations, and internal exchange formats

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Paid Search, SEA, or Search Advertising
  • Strategic understanding of performance marketing, business goals, data, and digital growth levers
  • Experience with complex account structures, automation, Smart Bidding, Performance Max, and modern search setups
  • Analytical thinking: You recognize patterns, set clear priorities, and derive concrete recommendations
  • Testing mindset: You develop hypotheses and run clean experiments
