(Junior) Media & Shopper Activation Manager (gn) – Core Markets International
About the role
Your mission
- You plan, coordinate, and execute assigned retail media activities across the Core Markets (Netherlands, Switzerland, and Italy)
- You brief, steer, and ensure the quality of design assets and content in shopper marketing
- You develop and implement POS as well as customer-specific campaigns, activations, and partnerships
- You roll out and execute displays, POSM materials, and furniture concepts across all relevant markets
- You create and optimize guidelines and best practices to ensure a consistent brand presence
- You manage and coordinate external agencies, retail marketing departments, and other service partners
- You contribute to budget planning and take ownership of sub-budgets
- You report to the Media & Shopper Strategy Manager – International within the Media & Shopper Marketing Team
Your experience & skills
- You hold a degree, ideally in marketing, media, or a related field
- You bring 2–3 years of experience in trade/shopper marketing, retail media, or brand activation
- You have experience in the FMCG industry and a strong understanding of retail landscapes in the Netherlands, Italy, and/or Switzerland
- You are experienced in the conception, planning, and execution of activation and media initiatives
- You are confident in managing projects across multiple stakeholders and countries
- You are experienced in steering external agencies and service providers
- You have strong MS Office skills and are comfortable working with KPIs, reporting tools, and international coordination processes
- You are a team player with a hands-on mentality and strong communication and coordination skills
- You think creatively and strategically, work in a structured and independent manner, and proactively drive topics forward
- You are fluent in English and additionally speak Italian, Dutch, or French at a professional level
- You are willing to travel 1–2 times per month
