The Role

As a Junior Linkbuilding Manager, you will take on both operational and strategic responsibility in linkbuilding—independently, structured, and results-oriented.

Core Responsibilities

Daily Operations

  • Independently book link placements with high-quality publishers
  • Daily publisher communication: initial and follow-up correspondence, negotiation, and tracking
  • Publisher outreach: identify, contact, and build relationships with new publisher contacts
  • Maintain ERP systems: document and keep all link and publisher data clean and current
  • Quality assurance: review placed links for relevance, quality, and KPI compliance
  • Create and maintain ranking reports

Research & Strategy

  • Publisher research: actively research new sources, niches, and link partners
  • Publisher network: continuously ensure quality and currency of the network
  • Preliminary work for new projects: analyze and prepare publisher potential for new clients
  • Fill link building plans: strategically allocate links to target pages
  • Actively support development of internal processes and workflows

Requirements

  • Practical experience in linkbuilding, outreach, or SEO
  • Experience communicating with external partners or clients
  • Basic knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Sistrix, or Semrush (a plus, not required)
  • Structured, self-directed working style—remote work is not a problem for you
  • Excellent German language skills in writing and speaking; English is a plus
  • Analytical thinking and affinity for numbers: you work data-driven
  • Willingness to learn and hands-on mentality: motivated, ready to take action, and eager to develop
