Join Our Team as an Attorney at Axiom
We are seeking a Junior Commercial Contracts Lawyer to support large-scale client projects across multiple industries. This role is ideal for motivated legal professionals with under 5 years of post-qualification experience who bring strong commercial contracting skills and an interest in handling high-volume workflows. Candidates with CLM implementation experience and exposure to international clients are highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of core commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, and distribution agreements.
- Support large-scale contracting projects across industries, ensuring contracts align with operational and strategic objectives.
- Assist with CLM implementation and contract management processes, including template development and database oversight.
- Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders, including teams across international jurisdictions.
- Provide clear, business-focused advice on contractual risk and compliance considerations.
- Maintain awareness of relevant industry regulations and best practices in commercial contracting.
Qualifications:
- JD or equivalent, with active bar membership in good standing.
- 2–5 years of post-qualification experience; in-house exposure preferred.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating core commercial contracts.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume workflows in a remote or hybrid environment.
Preferred Skills:
- CLM system implementation experience.
- Exposure to international contracts or clients.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Comfort working as a generalist across multiple contract types and industries.
Compensation:
The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
