IT Business App Specialist

Accountabilities:

• • Collaborate with internal customers to understand, define, and prioritize business needs, translating them into efficient, feasible, and scalable technical solutions.
  • Partner with architects, developers, engineers, and other IT teams across multiple countries to assess requirements, estimate solutions, manage delivery, and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Design and implement solutions primarily based on Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS, leveraging cloud, IaaS, PaaS, and serverless technologies where appropriate.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify technology landscapes, improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and increase business value.
  • Manage and prioritize technical backlogs, assess risks, balance resource allocation, and contribute to business cases for new technology initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to the development of software solutions within multitier and web-based environments.
  • Apply security best practices across infrastructure, applications, identity and access management, and data-related solutions.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Apply Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban throughout project delivery and continuously improve development and delivery practices.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging software development trends, cloud technologies, AI capabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Apply AI tools and capabilities to development processes and daily workflows to improve productivity, quality, and delivery speed.
  • Ensure technical activities, decisions, and solutions are properly documented and aligned with corporate standards.

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional experience developing and delivering software solutions, preferably within web-based and multitier environments.
  • Solid experience working with cloud-hosted solutions, particularly Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft cloud services across IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless architectures.
  • Experience understanding business requirements, identifying technical opportunities, evaluating complex environments, and proposing practical solutions.
  • Experience managing technical backlogs, assessing risks, balancing resources, and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of security best practices covering infrastructure, applications, IAM, and data solutions.
  • Scripting experience and familiarity with modern software development practices.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across development initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically distributed and remote teams working across different time zones.
  • Proficient or fluent English, with confidence communicating with international stakeholders.
  • Experience applying AI tools to software development and daily work processes.
  • Familiarity with software development technologies such as C#, JavaScript, Node.js, Java, Python, RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, and Office 365 is desirable.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Angular, React, HTML5, and CSS3 or other modern web UI technologies is advantageous.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, ARM Templates, Chef, or Ansible is a plus.
  • Experience with low-code development platforms, particularly OutSystems, is desirable; relevant cloud or OutSystems certifications are also an advantage.
  • Strong interest in working on global projects, collaborating with leadership, and operating in a fast-changing, customer-focused environment.
