About the role
Accountabilities:
- Create and manage marketing collateral: Coordinate, design, edit, update, and distribute agent-facing materials such as product sheets, presentations, flyers, customer-facing resources, and sales collateral across multiple lines of business.
- Maintain product accuracy: Keep a strong working knowledge of insurance products and incorporate rate changes, appetite updates, product revisions, and other business changes into relevant materials.
- Support agent-to-customer selling: Develop resources that help independent agents clearly communicate product value and benefits to homeowners and other customers.
- Manage reviews and approvals: Coordinate stakeholder feedback and review processes with sales, product, legal, underwriting, and other teams to ensure content remains accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand standards.
- Own content libraries: Maintain organized marketing repositories, including version control, document updates, and archiving of outdated materials.
- Partner with sales teams: Act as a marketing point of contact for field sales, identify agent content needs, and translate those needs into practical collateral and targeted campaigns.
- Strengthen agent engagement: Collect and organize agent testimonials, customer stories, and other proof points that can enhance sales and marketing materials.
- Coordinate projects and timelines: Manage collateral requests, priorities, deadlines, stakeholder input, and approval requirements across multiple concurrent projects.
- Support cross-functional execution: Participate in sales, product, and stakeholder meetings, document priorities, track updates, identify content requirements, and communicate project status, risks, and blockers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement: Help improve collateral processes, content quality, and marketing workflows while supporting a consistent and effective experience for independent agents.
- Professional experience: 3–5 years of marketing experience, with direct exposure to the insurance industry; experience working with or marketing to independent agents is required.
- Insurance knowledge: Practical understanding of property and casualty insurance products, ideally gained within a carrier, MGA, wholesaler, insurtech, or another organization serving the independent-agent channel.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Content and communication: Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex insurance and product information into clear, compelling, agent-ready content.
- Design capabilities: Proficiency with tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
- Compliance awareness: Familiarity with legal review and compliance processes for insurance marketing materials.
- Marketing technology: Familiarity with Salesforce or marketing automation platforms is a plus, particularly for journey- or trigger-based email content.
- Organization: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholder reviews, and revisions simultaneously.
- Technical proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working with US-based business teams and communicating effectively across functions and time zones.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Working environment: Ability to work 8 hours per day excluding breaks, including a required 4-hour overlap with core US hours from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST, plus 4 flexible hours in IST.
- Remote setup: Ability to work from a quiet, suitable workspace with a reliable internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.
- Annual compensation range of INR 1,068,800–1,496,300, depending on experience, skills, knowledge, market alignment, and location.
