About the role

About The Role

We are looking for an Inside Partner Account Manager to join our Object First team.

In this role, you will support the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and be responsible for onboarding new partners, managing deal registrations, enabling partners, and driving both new and existing business through the partner ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will be tenacious, outgoing, well-spoken, tech-savvy, and a native language speaker for their region. The ability to understand and explain technical information in simple terms is required. You will report to the Manager Inside Sales EMEA, who is supportive, approachable, and focused on helping you succeed in your role. The team operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring you to come into the Bucharest office three days a week for collaboration and team bonding.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and qualify potential partners and present Object First’s product alongside technology partner products to present technological solutions.
  • Present Object First solutions to potential partners, tailor those pitches to the specific needs of the potential customer and answer questions accordingly.
  • Develop and manage relationships with partners to help the business achieve revenue, product, and partner referral goals.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities at 4–5X the assigned quota.
  • Maintain a high level of daily activity, including prospecting for new partner logos, partner calls, meetings and other activities.
  • Build and execute against partner recruitment plan.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2-5 years of experience in high tech software sales.
  • Experience working with partners throughout the sales cycle
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and presentation).
  • Knowledge of datacenter technologies such as virtualization, storage, servers, cloud and networking.
  • Experience transacting and going to market with Channel partners.
  • Experience working and supporting a reseller/distributor model.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High energy, drive, and sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Fluency in Germanand strong English skills.
