About the role
Accountabilities:
- Schedule and lead post-sale client meetings, gathering the information, data, requirements, and feedback needed to configure software solutions effectively.
- Create and manage detailed implementation project plans, tracking tasks, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and client approvals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact throughout the implementation process, maintaining clear and proactive communication with customers.
- Configure software systems according to each client's operational requirements, using knowledge of golf course management processes and business needs.
- Train customers on the software platform and relevant add-on modules, adapting training to their specific workflows and requirements.
- Document all client-specific configurations and customizations in dedicated implementation documentation.
- Manage project deliverables and identify potential risks or delays to keep implementations progressing efficiently.
- Prepare cost and timeline estimates for additional development or professional services requested by clients and support the associated billing process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve implementation challenges and ensure a smooth transition from sales through deployment and customer adoption.
- Perform additional duties and contribute to continuous improvements in implementation processes as required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant education and experience.
- Previous experience as an Implementation Specialist or in a related software implementation, customer-facing, or technology role.
- At least 3 years of experience working in golf course operations, with strong knowledge of golf course management processes and systems.
- Prior experience with the relevant software platform is preferred.
- Familiarity with golf course management software and competing solutions is highly desirable.
- Sound technical knowledge and the ability to understand and configure software based on customer requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity and business tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to identify issues and determine practical solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across different audiences.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients in a team environment.
- Highly action-oriented, energetic, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative with limited supervision.
- Approachable and customer-focused, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and make clients feel comfortable throughout the implementation journey.
- Strong ethical standards, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality customer outcomes.
- Fully remote position within Canada.
- Full-time, regular employment with a scheduled 37.5-hour work week.
