About the role
Accountabilities
- Set up new implementation projects by confirming project sizing and category, establishing baseline plans, and securing the appropriate configuration capacity.
- Own project schedules and milestones, monitor progress against baseline plans, identify slippage early, and re-plan activities when required.
- Serve as the primary client contact for project timing, sequencing, deliverables, dependencies, and implementation expectations.
- Coordinate effectively with international configuration teams, accounting for time-zone differences and ensuring work remains aligned with North American priorities.
- Manage project scope carefully by documenting, pricing, and routing change requests rather than allowing additional requirements to be absorbed into existing plans.
- Identify, assess, and escalate project risks early, developing clear mitigation actions to protect delivery timelines and outcomes.
- Lead projects through completion, ensuring outstanding issues are resolved, documentation is finalized, support teams are briefed, and all requirements are ready for handover.
- Maintain strong client relationships while holding stakeholders accountable for agreed commitments and deliverables.
- Manage billable project activity and maintain utilization expectations alongside delivery responsibilities.
- 5+ years of experience managing software implementation projects for external clients, with ownership of both project schedules and client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-site, phased, or complex software rollouts.
- Strong client management skills, including the ability to communicate difficult news, enforce commitments, and resolve issues while maintaining productive relationships.
- Experience working within a billable professional services environment and managing a utilization target alongside project delivery responsibilities.
- Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and risk-management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across clients, delivery teams, and international stakeholders.
- Based in the United States and willing and able to travel to client sites across North America.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are preferred.
- Experience coordinating with implementation or development teams located in different countries or time zones is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or related industries is an advantage.
- ERP implementation experience, particularly with SYSPRO, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Project Operations or comparable professional services automation tools is a plus.
- Annual salary of $130,000.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Employee-only medical coverage available at no cost.
- Company HSA contribution for employees enrolled in the medical plan.
- 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company matching up to 6%.
- Immediate full vesting and company-paid 401(k) plan administrative fees.
- Flexible PTO, accruing up to 120 hours (15 days) annually.
- 7 paid company holidays.
- Voluntary benefits available through payroll deduction, including short- and long-term disability, supplemental life/AD&D, accident and critical illness insurance, prepaid legal services, telemedicine, and identity protection.
- Remote work within the United States, with travel to client locations across North America as required.
