About the role
Accountabilities
- Partner with the Chief Customer Officer to prioritize customer strategies and initiatives, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure health plan customers receive consistent and effective engagement.
- Lead the operating rhythm for a bi-weekly Customer Advisory Committee, including agenda development, executive coordination, meeting materials, strategic narratives, decision tracking, and follow-through.
- Ensure insights and feedback from executive customer forums are synthesized and incorporated into broader strategic priorities.
- Coordinate customer engagement across product and business teams by clarifying ownership, connecting subject-matter experts with customer needs, and reducing unnecessary demands on health plan stakeholders.
- Track customer adoption, value realization, and insights, particularly around medication contracting and other high-cost medication initiatives, and identify opportunities to increase customer value.
- Strengthen customer relationship management by developing cross-functional processes, improving visibility into customer activities, and supporting the implementation and use of CRM tools.
- Support annual customer business and financial planning by coordinating products, services, value propositions, demonstrated impact, and investment requests into compelling customer offerings and budgets.
- Develop executive-level presentations, customer communications, narratives, and other materials that make complex information clear, concise, and actionable.
- Bring structure to ambiguous initiatives, manage competing priorities, and ensure important customer-related projects move forward with strong execution and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, pharmacy, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of progressive healthcare experience, including direct experience working with or supporting health plans.
- Strong understanding of the health plan landscape and the priorities of senior healthcare leaders, particularly pharmacy executives and other senior health plan stakeholders.
- Experience in pharmacy, PBM, health plan pharmacy, medication management, or related healthcare environments is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting executive governance bodies, advisory councils, steering committees, boards, or similar forums, including agenda preparation, executive communications, meeting coordination, and follow-through.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to establish credibility, build trusted relationships, and communicate effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop polished executive communications and presentations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and create structure in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to connect insights across customers, teams, and business priorities.
- Resourceful, curious, adaptable, and resilient, with the judgment to balance customer needs, stakeholder perspectives, and organizational objectives.
- Comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution while maintaining a high standard of quality and accountability.
- Annual base salary range of $120,000–$140,000, plus additional variable compensation opportunities.
