About the role

As Head of Marketing (w/m/d) at tecRacer Germany GmbH, you will take on strategic and operational overall responsibility for our Marketing & PR department. You work closely with management, business units and sales, and ensure that marketing measurably contributes to company growth.
This role is explicitly not a pure strategy position. It combines clear positioning, demand generation and thought leadership with operational excellence and team leadership. You think entrepreneurially, act data-driven and have the ambition to consistently develop our brand, pipeline and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Brand & Positioning
- Development and implementation of comprehensive marketing, communications and PR strategy
- Clear positioning of tecRacer as a leading cloud and AWS partner
- Ensuring consistent brand presence across all channels
- Close collaboration with management and business units to derive strategic marketing objectives
Demand Generation & Revenue Growth
- Overall responsibility for demand generation along the entire customer journey
- Planning and managing integrated campaigns with clear focus on pipeline and revenue impact
- Close integration of marketing and sales (ICP definition, campaign prioritization, lead handoffs)
- Building and scaling account-based marketing approaches for strategic target customers
Thought Leadership, PR & Visibility
- Strategic expansion of thought leadership positioning
- Placement of experts in trade publications, events and conferences
- Development of high-quality content formats (whitepapers, studies, articles, speaker slots)
- Management of external PR partners and agencies
Digital, Website & Performance
- Further development of website as central channel for positioning and demand generation
- Use of market, competitive and trend analyses to optimize messaging and campaigns
- Management of external service providers for continuous improvement of content, structure and performance
Team, Budget & Organization
- Leadership and development of the marketing team
- Responsibility for budget planning, prioritization and efficient resource allocation
- Building scalable marketing processes and clear KPI structures
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in tech, cloud or consulting
- Proven success in demand generation and marketing-driven growth
- Experience in close collaboration with sales organizations
- Strategic thinking combined with strong hands-on mentality
- Experience managing external service providers and agencies
