Role Overview
As the Head of Data & Analytics, you will deliver key business insights by leading a team of analysts that embed across EPD squads and the team responsible for Vanta's analytics and data platform - owning the architecture, ingestion, modeling, and governance that power all internal data use cases.
The mission of Vanta's Data team is to deliver insights that impact every part of Vanta's business via a world-class AI-powered data infrastructure. The role requires strong subject matter expertise in how SaaS companies and their businesses work at scale, and a strong engineering and technical architecture mindset.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute Vanta's company-wide data infrastructure strategy — setting the vision for how data is collected, governed, and used to drive outcomes
- Lead a team of analysts that embed across product and engineering squads
- Own the analytics and data platform team responsible for architecture, ingestion, modeling, and governance
- Deliver critical insights for Product teams and collaborate with Analytics teams in Marketing, Revenue, Finance, and other functions
- Partner closely with Vanta's Leadership team
- Drive operational effectiveness in how we build and scale our data infrastructure
