About the role

Accountabilities:

    • Own the content strategy and calendar: Lead content planning across the full B2B marketing funnel, identifying gaps and developing high-impact assets such as blogs, landing pages, website content, videos, YouTube scripts, lead magnets, and other campaign materials.
    • Drive SEO and AEO: Build and manage SEO/AEO strategy end to end, including keyword and prompt tracking, prioritization, optimization, content refreshes, and distribution strategies that increase organic visibility and demand.
    • Lead social content: Own the social media calendar across company, founder, and subject-matter-expert channels, determining what content should be promoted and ensuring consistent brand visibility.
    • Develop campaigns and product launches: Own campaign strategy, content, timelines, communications, and execution for new-business and customer initiatives, ensuring launches are coordinated and designed to generate pipeline.
    • Maintain content quality: Act as the final quality checkpoint for marketing communications, ensuring emails, launch materials, customer communications, and other assets are on-brand, well-positioned, accurate, and compelling before publication.
    • Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, and regional marketing teams to translate product capabilities and customer needs into effective messaging and campaigns.
    • Lead and develop the content function: Manage the Marketing Admin & Creative resource and provide direction across video, blog, social, lead magnet, and other content production activities.
    • Use data to improve performance: Leverage marketing analytics, customer insights, and campaign results to refine content priorities, improve distribution, and identify opportunities for greater pipeline impact.
    • Embrace AI-enabled marketing: Integrate AI tools and emerging technologies into daily workflows to increase content quality, speed, experimentation, and operational efficiency.
    • Manage priorities independently: Keep multiple campaigns and initiatives moving simultaneously, maintaining clear timelines, ownership, and communication while proactively removing blockers and taking work off senior leadership’s plate.
    • Requirements

      • 8+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably gained in an in-house/corporate environment rather than an agency setting.
      • Proven ownership of SEO/AEO strategy, including the ability to build a strategy from the ground up rather than simply execute an established plan.
      • Strong content and editorial expertise, with exceptional writing and editing skills and the ability to translate positioning and brand voice into compelling messaging across formats.
      • End-to-end campaign management experience, including ownership of content calendars, campaign planning, timelines, execution, and performance outcomes.
      • Product launch experience, with a track record of coordinating launches across Product, Marketing, Sales, and regional teams.
      • Strong B2B demand-generation understanding, with the ability to create content and campaigns that support both top-of-funnel awareness and bottom-of-funnel conversion.
      • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage numerous priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously.
      • High autonomy and ownership, with the judgment and initiative to identify what needs to happen and move work forward without requiring detailed direction.
      • Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with senior leaders, product teams, sales teams, and distributed international colleagues.
      • AI and technology fluency, with experience incorporating AI into everyday marketing workflows and an ability to learn and adopt new tools quickly.
      • Remote-work readiness, including a private, quiet, ergonomic workspace and a reliable internet connection capable of supporting video calls, with at least 30 Mbps download speed.
      • Flexibility with working hours to maintain meaningful overlap with teams operating on Eastern Time and across global markets.
      • Benefits

        • Compensation: CA$120,000–CA$150,000 base salary plus bonus.
        • Stock options as part of the overall compensation package.
        • Benefits package supporting employee health and well-being.
        • Fully remote work from anywhere in Canada.
        • Paid time off: 15 days of annual leave plus 3 additional summer days.
        • Birthday holiday: Your birthday is an additional paid day off.
        • Regional in-person gatherings and co-working opportunities throughout the year.
        • High-quality remote-work equipment and collaboration tools to support productivity from home.
        • Access to a modern marketing technology stack, including AI, automation, CRM, analytics, collaboration, and content-production tools.
        • A collaborative, supportive team environment with opportunities to work closely with marketing, product, sales, and regional teams.
        • An inclusive workplace committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process.
