- Ensure consistency between company-level messaging and segment-specific narratives across startup, mid-market, and enterprise audiences.
- Stay closely connected to customers and frontline teams by reviewing sales conversations, interviewing customers, gathering feedback, and conducting qualitative and quantitative market research.
- Use AI-enabled tools to synthesize large amounts of customer, market, and business information and turn findings into actionable narrative insights.
- Own the narrative strategy for the annual keynote, partnering directly with the CEO and collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Product Marketing teams to create a compelling and cohesive story.
- Lead keynote planning, speaker coordination, content development, and the execution details required to deliver a high-impact event.
- Develop messaging, sales decks, enablement materials, and other content for startup and lower mid-market audiences while partnering with enterprise marketing leadership to maintain cross-segment alignment.
- Collaborate with Partnerships and other teams to ensure strategic programs and initiatives are reflected coherently in the broader company narrative.
- Begin as a hands-on individual contributor, building the narrative frameworks, processes, and operating foundations before growing and hiring a team.
- Provide senior-level thought leadership on how customer needs, industry developments, product evolution, and company strategy should influence the stories communicated to the market.
- Significant senior-level experience in Product Marketing, Brand or Corporate Marketing, Content, Communications, or a closely related discipline, with a strong track record of owning high-impact narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with CEOs and senior executives on high-stakes storytelling, strategic positioning, and executive communications.
- Strong strategic thinking and narrative development skills, with the ability to connect company vision, market dynamics, customer insights, and product direction into a coherent story.
- Experience developing scalable messaging frameworks that can be adapted across different customer segments, channels, and business functions.
- Strong understanding of customer research and market intelligence, including the ability to combine qualitative feedback, quantitative research, sales insights, and industry trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex ideas clear, compelling, and actionable for different audiences.
- Experience creating sales enablement materials and working closely with sales leadership and customer-facing teams.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with deep individual-contributor execution and a willingness to work directly on foundational deliverables.
- Strong curiosity about business, technology, industry trends, and their implications for company positioning and narrative.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments where processes and solutions are still being established.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to connect initiatives across Product, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and executive leadership.
- Demonstrated interest in eventually building and leading a team, while being motivated to first establish the strategy, frameworks, and operating model yourself.
- $190,000–$220,000 USD in compensation, plus equity.
- Remote-first work environment within the United States.
- Unlimited PTO, with approximately four weeks per year encouraged and actively supported.
- 12 weeks of fully paid family leave in the United States.
- A 10-year exercise window for stock options, providing additional flexibility around equity decisions.
