GTM Technology Lead - India

RubrikX is our high-velocity product incubation team, focused on driving adoption and market share for our newest and most innovative cybersecurity and data resilience solutions. This is a pure "hunter" role for a motivated specialist who thrives on introducing disruptive technology to new customers.

Specialist functions within RubrikX are an important function in the India organization. The RubrikX Sales Engineer / Technology lead is a key sales specialist role, supporting the broader sales organization with deep industry & technical knowledge in a focus area like Identity and AI resiliency. This means working with customers and prospects to educate them on how Rubrik protects and manages data. Additionally, this position will have an active role in providing real world feedback to product teams to enhance the product, driving new features before they are released, and helping educate the sales organization on key components of their focus area technology. The role provides both immediate and long term impact with their technical & industry knowledge and will be in a position of influence with prospects and customers. In time, this position has the potential to expand and take on teams focused on other technical specialisms.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide technical & industry guidance in customer calls as required, both in person and remote.
  • Working closely with AE and SE counterparts
  • Assist with technical implementations and POC’s of the new products.
  • Be a key resource for Marketing. Writing thought-leadership pieces and speaking / presenting at conferences as needed.
  • Creating and giving presentations on focus area specific knowledge to internal team members.
  • Work with product management and engineering to discover and address product gaps, providing real world knowledge on product use.
  • Understand what Cybersecurity regulations mean for our customers.
  • Work to create C-level relationships with customers and look to become a trusted advisor.
  • Attend internal meetings and events as required, both in person and remote. You can expect approximately 50% travel for on site meetings and events.

Experience:

  • A solid understanding of backups, high availability, cybersecurity and disaster recovery architectures for their focus area.
  • Ideally Scripting experience in a relevant language (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
  • Ability to self manage time and projects.
  • Community activity and involvement.
  • Ability and experience giving technical presentations.
  • Strong track record of performance selling to small to large Enterprise accounts
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, as you are continually working on bringing new products to market
  • Naturally curious with the competency to learn new solutions quickly
  • Tenacious with natural drive and grit to get things done
  • Understanding and experience working with an partner ecosystem
  • Highly driven, goal oriented “get it done” attitude
  • Experience selling early stage products in a complex solution
  • Ideally a Bachelor
