About the role
About the platform team
Platform is the bridge that brings all of Sword together. We sit at the heart of the member journey, ensuring that every interaction - whether in Thrive, Bloom, Move, or Mind feels like part of one simple, seamless experience. For members, we deliver clarity, ease, and confidence: one identity, seamless navigation, and cohesive experiences across care. For Sword, we create speed, leverage, and consistency: shared systems and services that let every team scale faster, safer, and with higher quality.
What you’ll do
- Own the Platform product strategy, roadmap, and execution.
- Use AI as the foundation, not an add-on to reinvent how members access care.
- Champion a holistic, member-first perspective, ensuring cohesive experiences across programs.
- Ship fast, experiment constantly, and learn quickly, proving impact every step of the way.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, growth, and clinical teams to make cross-cutting services simple, elegant, and impactful.
- Build and scale core platform capabilities (navigation, notifications, member profile, scheduling, experimentation, design system) that power every product.
- Grow into a leadership role, potentially Group PM or Head of Product, mentoring other PMs and influencing Sword’s product culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven expertise: 8+ years in product management, with significant experience in platform, consumer, or multi-product environments.
- User-first mindset: Ability to translate complexity into simple, intuitive, and cohesive user experiences.
- Outcome orientation: Relentless focus on results, with fluency in KPIs like activation, engagement, and retention.
- AI fluency: Practical understanding of how AI can accelerate product development, experimentation, and value delivery.
- Bias for action: Thrives in ambiguity, makes decisions fast, and validates assumptions early.
- Product craft: Mastery of discovery, lean development, and simplifying complex problems into intuitive experiences.
- Collaboration & influence: Strong communication skills to rally engineering, design, growth, and clinical teams around shared goals.
