About Informal Systems
Informal is a remote-first company with employees in the US, Canada, South America and Europe. We are structured like a worker’s cooperative, where important corporate actions are subject to one-person-one-vote democratic control by the member-employees.
Our Mission: To foster trust in software and money.
We are a long-term holding company and incubator focused on advancing trust in foundational systems. Our role is to identify structural problems in software and money, and build principled solutions. At this time, we are doing that through Informal Systems and Helios. We also support teams with integrations and audits to ensure systems remain trustworthy in production.
