Front-End Developer II - ShareGate Protect
About the role
Your role
You'll be joining a team of experienced developers who design and evolve products used at scale. In this role, you'll focus on crafting high-quality, performant user interfaces in React and TypeScript, turning complex product needs into intuitive experiences. Beyond the code, you'll take part in technical and product decisions, and contribute to discussions around customer value, performance, accessibility, and the long-term quality and maintainability of our front-end.
Your impact:
- Ship high-quality, performant front-end features in React and TypeScript that meet UX standards from the earliest milestones;
- Translate user needs into shipped experiences that solve the real problem (not just the spec), in tight partnership with Product and Design;
- Grow a reusable component library and design system that speeds up delivery across the team;
- Step into the backend when needed: read existing code and extend or add functionality so delivery isn't blocked at the front-end boundary;
- Deliver interfaces that hold up to real-world performance, accessibility, and responsiveness expectations;
- Help shape front-end architecture and engineering practices that scale beyond the first release;
- Keep the codebase healthy and maintainable through reviews, testing, and continuous improvement;
- Influence product and technical decisions through active participation in team discussions.
Your team
A multidisciplinary squad made up of full-stack and front-end developers, a Product Manager, a Product Designer, and an Engineering Manager. The team is composed of experienced, product-oriented developers who care as much about the value delivered as the technical decisions behind it. You'll join to strengthen our front-end expertise, increase our delivery capacity, and support the product's evolution.
What are the next challenges awaiting your team?
The main upcoming challenges will be tied to managing and leveraging large volumes of data. We will need to design efficient interfaces that allow users to query, filter, and display this data smoothly and meaningfully. This will require smart technical decisions around front
