Front-End AI Co-op Marketing

Accountabilities:

• • Develop and enhance marketing website experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Build responsive, accessible, high-performance user interfaces and contribute to new user-facing features.
  • Use AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor to accelerate development workflows and improve productivity and code quality.
  • Integrate AI-powered capabilities into web interfaces, including chatbots, personalized content recommendations, AI-driven search, and other intelligent experiences.
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable code and participate in refactoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with design and backend teams to translate UI/UX concepts into intuitive and effective web experiences.
  • Experiment with prompt engineering techniques to improve AI-assisted development and optimize AI interactions.
  • Optimize front-end components for performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Participate in code reviews, agile development processes, and collaborative engineering workflows.
  • Document AI development workflows, implementation approaches, and best practices for broader team use.
  • Contribute to projects that use third-party AI services and APIs to enhance digital experiences.
  • Explore ways to measure AI feature performance, user engagement, and overall experience quality through analytics.

  Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 6 months of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with at least one modern front-end framework or library, such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or comparable solutions.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-friendly web development.
  • Experience with Git and version control is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Drupal is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and how AI can enhance web applications.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and front-end integration with backend services, particularly AI/LLM APIs.
  • Understanding or practical experience with prompt engineering and optimizing AI interactions.
  • Experience integrating third-party AI services, such as chatbots, content generation, or image-processing capabilities, is an asset.
  • Awareness of AI accessibility considerations and responsible or ethical AI implementation.
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in creating high-quality user experiences.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and enthusiasm for learning new tools and techniques.
  • A personal portfolio, GitHub profile, or relevant side projects demonstrating front-end development skills is an advantage, particularly projects involving AI integration.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools for measuring feature performance and user engagement is a plus.
