About the role
Accountabilities:
- Proactively identify and target small and medium-sized businesses with commercial fleets ranging from approximately 10 to 100 vehicles.
- Generate new sales opportunities through high-volume outbound cold calling, email campaigns, and digital prospecting.
- Introduce prospective customers to commercial vehicle offerings and relevant dealer solutions, creating initial interest and engagement.
- Build, organize, qualify, and continuously nurture a strong sales pipeline based on fleet size, purchasing timelines, vehicle requirements, and business needs.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer requirements, including cargo, towing, payload, vehicle type, and purchasing needs.
- Qualify leads effectively and identify high-potential opportunities for progression through the sales funnel.
- Partner closely with Regional Managers to deliver well-qualified leads with detailed customer context, ensuring a smooth transition from virtual prospecting to field sales.
- Connect qualified business buyers with appropriate local dealer partners to support demonstrations, quotes, purchasing decisions, and delivery.
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM records covering customer interactions, lead stages, follow-up activities, and pipeline progression.
- Manage a high volume of prospects and follow-ups while maintaining strong customer service and attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively with Regional Managers and dealer partners to maximize conversion opportunities and deliver a seamless buyer experience.
- Participate in occasional team meetings, training sessions, dealer events, and other business activities requiring limited travel.
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, outbound lead generation, B2B sales, or a call center environment; automotive, commercial vehicle, or fleet sales experience is a strong advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Exceptional telephone presence and strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport with business owners, fleet managers, and other decision-makers.
- Proven prospecting and lead qualification abilities, with confidence conducting high-volume outbound sales activity.
- Strong CRM experience and proficiency with virtual calling platforms, Microsoft Office, email, web-based tools, and other sales technology.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects, priorities, and follow-up activities without losing attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM information throughout the customer journey.
- Strong customer relationship management and follow-up skills, with a consistent focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate commercial vehicle solutions.
- Self-motivated, resilient, competitive, and highly results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and persistence when working toward sales targets.
- Comfortable handling rejection and maintaining motivation through frequent outbound prospecting.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with Regional Managers, dealer partners, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and productively in a fully remote environment.
- Willingness to undertake occasional travel for meetings, training, dealer events, or other business activities.
- Fully remote position available within the United States.
