Financial Systems Analyst - Platform

About the Role

The Platform team creates the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily. The Oracles sit at the heart of Spotify's financial infrastructure, building and evolving the systems that power our subledger and accounting lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Act as the embedded accounting domain expert within Financial Engineering R&D, contributing to day-to-day product and engineering decisions
• Guide system and product design to ensure accounting best practices and controls are built into the foundation
• Translate complex accounting requirements into scalable, structured system inputs across the subledger lifecycle
• Partner closely with engineers and product teams to shape flows for accruals, adjustments, reconciliation, and rebooking
• Contribute to the development lifecycle by informing, prototyping, and validating solutions for our core accounting platform
• Analyze existing accounting flows to separate core requirements from edge cases
