Financial Analyst

Accountabilities:

• • Build strong relationships with business units and provide responsive, high-quality financial support and customer service.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by analyzing financial results, preparing journal entries, and completing detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reporting and insights for senior management, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and actionable.
  • Monitor and analyze deferred maintenance, hardware, software, and revenue streams to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Support accounts receivable, collections, and order-to-cash activities while contributing to accurate revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS 15.
  • Prepare documentation and respond to information requests during quarterly financial reviews and annual audits.
  • Develop financial models and perform analysis to support financial planning, decision-making, and business performance evaluation.
  • Contribute to special projects, ad hoc reporting, and other analytical initiatives as required.

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a closely related discipline.
  • Completion of, or active progress toward, a professional accounting designation such as CPA.
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities and confidence working with financial data and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify trends and translate financial information into useful insights.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition principles, accounts receivable, financial close processes, and IFRS 15 is highly valuable.
