Financial Analyst, FP&A
About the role
Financial Analyst, FP&A
The FP&A team at Oura plays an important part in delivering our company mission. We are a highly visible function responsible for delivering mission-critical analytics and insights to leadership and key stakeholders.
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our global FP&A team and support core corporate finance processes, reporting, and planning. This role sits at the center of Core FP&A and will help drive accurate, scalable financial reporting and analysis across the company.
This role is well suited for an early-career FP&A professional who can go beyond executing recurring tasks and begin owning key workflows, improving reporting quality, and helping modernize how Finance operates. As Oura continues to build out Pigment as a core planning platform, this role will help shift the team away from manual data pulls and data scrubbing and toward more automated, controlled, and insight-driven processes.
You will partner closely with Finance teammates and cross-functional stakeholders to support monthly actuals, three-statement modeling, executive reporting, planning cycles, Pigment workflows, and process improvement efforts that make our outputs more scalable and decision-useful.
What You Will Do:
- Own recurring components of the monthly actuals process across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, ensuring updates are accurate, timely, and well controlled.
- Maintain core FP&A models and reporting outputs, including tie-outs, reconciliations, and structured QA checks across source systems and downstream reporting.
- Investigate variances versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, summarizing key drivers clearly for Finance review and translating results into narratives that help leadership understand performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Support budget and forecast cycles through data preparation, consolidation, validation, and reporting.
- Act as a Pigment power user for Core FP&A — maintaining model structures, dimensions, and reporting views while helping automate recurring reporting and forecast workflows.
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to define clean inputs, improve data integrity, and establish sustainable handoffs between source systems and Pigment-based outputs.
- Prepare recurring executive materials including Monthly Flash, Board reporting support, and leadership presentations, ensuring consistency across metrics, definitions, commentary, and formatting.
- Build and improve dashboards and reporting templates that increase visibility into company performance and make financial information easier to consume.
- Document core FP&A processes and controls, proactively identifying improvements that reduce cycle time, manual work, and data quality issues.
- Partner with Accounting and cross-functional Finance teams to improve the quality and usability of source data feeding FP&A processes.
- Leverage AI tools where appropriate for data validation, variance explanation drafting, narrative preparation, and ad hoc analysis.
