Finance Support Leader

Accountabilities:

• • Own the Support P&L end-to-end, including orders, sales, costs, revenue, and gross margin, while connecting operational drivers to financial performance.
  • Partner with Commercial and Product teams to implement Product Life Cycle strategies and capture pricing opportunities.
  • Lead monthly financial and strategic reviews with Support leadership, focusing on growth, cost productivity, and effective management of AI-related investments.
  • Lead revenue, margin, and license forecasting activities for the Support P&L.
  • Maintain ownership of Remaining Performance Obligation (RPO) consolidation and reporting, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Centralize Support estimates, pacing, and budgeting activities to improve efficiency, consistency, and financial visibility.
  • Partner with Sales and senior leadership to provide actionable financial insights that support sound commercial decisions.
  • Lead financial reviews of commercial opportunities, evaluating pricing, deal structures, and contract convertibility against applicable controllership guidelines.
  • Constructively challenge pricing, discounting, and contract terms to protect value, margins, and overall profitability.
  • Analyze recurring financial and operational issues and implement sustainable solutions that improve processes and business performance.
  • Collaborate across Finance, Operations, Commercial, and other functional teams to deliver shared objectives.
  • Strengthen financial reporting processes and ensure information remains accurate, reliable, and aligned with strategic priorities.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in FP&A and/or Project Controlling.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering.
  • Experience documenting, planning, and executing financial processes and programs; 8+ years of experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, financial planning, forecasting, and commercial finance.
  • Ability to evaluate pricing, deal structures, contract terms, and other commercial considerations from a financial perspective.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply sound professional judgment to complex situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership of financial processes and deliverables.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus across functions and countries.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with Finance, Sales, Product, Operations, and leadership teams.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement practical, sustainable solutions.
