Finance Manager

About the Role

We are Brainstack, a Ukrainian multi-product IT company, looking for a Finance Manager to join our Astrology niche team. You will work with a profitable and actively growing project, gain unique experience operating across multiple jurisdictions (USA and Cyprus), become the internal owner of financial processes, and engage in extensive external communication with international accountants and auditors.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in foreign companies or audit (Big4 is a significant advantage)
• Fluent English (B2+ for oral and written communication)
• Knowledge of IFRS standards and experience with international jurisdictions (USA, Cyprus)
• Practical experience with ERP systems (including QuickBooks)
• Understanding of SaaS business specifics (subscriptions, refunds, etc.)
• Understanding of management reporting and experience working with stakeholders
• Proactive, responsible, and ready to independently initiate process improvements

Responsibilities

• Maintain company records in the ERP system and prepare monthly management reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Control external reporting: annual reports, audits, sales tax, VAT reporting
• Communicate with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants in the USA and Cyprus
• Manage document transfer, work with primary documentation and invoices
• Handle budget management and tracking of project KPIs
• Set up new financial tools (e.g., Taxjar)
