About the role

Accountabilities:

    • Accompany experienced service engineers during pre-installation activities, equipment demonstrations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and other field service assignments.
    • Support the installation, troubleshooting, and planned maintenance of single-use and chromatography equipment used by biopharmaceutical customers.
    • Progress toward independently attending customer service calls, or work alongside trained engineers as required, while meeting established service quality standards.
    • Develop practical knowledge of equipment such as upstream bioreactors and downstream liquid chromatography systems.
    • Support service documentation, reporting, escalation, travel coordination, and other operational processes.
    • Interact professionally with customers and internal teams to support effective service delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Learn and follow established processes for service reporting, escalations, revenue forecasting, and field activities.
    • Contribute actively to the service team while developing technical expertise and independent troubleshooting capabilities.
    • Travel within Ahmedabad and to other locations as required to support customer service activities.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biotechnology, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical & Telecommunications Engineering.
      • Fresh graduates and recently qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
      • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and progressively work with greater independence.
      • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used for technical service, maintenance, and repairs.
      • Interest in learning how to troubleshoot bioprocessing equipment, including upstream bioreactors and downstream liquid chromatography systems.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal colleagues and external customers.
      • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
      • Willingness and ability to travel as required for customer visits and field service assignments.
      • Adaptability and willingness to learn established processes for reporting, escalation, travel, and operational coordination.
      • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a technical service team.
      • Proactive attitude, curiosity, and strong motivation to build a career in life sciences equipment service.
