About the role

Accountabilities

    • Execute field service activities involving low- and medium-voltage drives in accordance with established work instructions, quality standards, safety requirements, and service processes.
    • Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical analysis of drive systems through onsite and, where applicable, remote activities.
    • Work directly with customers to understand operational challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and help eliminate technical pain points.
    • Diagnose equipment and process failures, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
    • Develop recommendations that can help customers prevent recurring technical issues and improve equipment reliability and operational performance.
    • Prepare material and equipment lists required for service activities and ensure that necessary parts, tools, and resources are available and meet quality requirements.
    • Plan and execute assigned service activities with a first-time-right mindset, maintaining a strong sense of urgency and customer focus.
    • Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and service progress clearly to customers and relevant internal stakeholders.
    • Follow all applicable safety, quality, and operational procedures while working in customer and industrial environments.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
      • 3–4 years of professional experience working with low-voltage and medium-voltage drives.
      • Demonstrated hands-on experience with the installation and commissioning of electrical drives.
      • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to analyze equipment and process failures effectively.
      • Good understanding of electrical drive systems and industrial applications.
      • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and preventing recurring technical issues.
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers in field environments.
      • Customer-oriented mindset with a strong focus on responsiveness, service quality, and first-time-right execution.
      • Ability to work independently onsite while following safety procedures, technical standards, and established service processes.
      • Willingness and ability to work in an onsite/customer-facing field service environment.
