Role Overview

3Pillar Global is seeking an experienced and dynamic Field CTO to provide (a) thought leadership, consult on strategic customer and partner engagements as billable engagements, (b) help the sales organization on key focus areas with technology and product development expertise, and (c) provide guidance to the product delivery teams on specific accounts where you’ve had exposure as billable subject matter expert and advisor.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales Engagements: Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and executive stakeholders from client organizations to understand their current state and challenges. Share success stories and case studies that illustrate how you, or others at 3Pillar, have solved similar problems. Apply your experience and technology expertise during sales meetings. Assist the solutioning team on accounts where you were engaged during pre-sales.
• Consulting: Ask questions to ensure you are answering the right ones as you dive deep into clients’ challenges. Reframe issues and focus clients on those that will drive the most impact. Act as a technical advisor to both internal and external stakeholders. Propose solutions to enterprise business problems specific to technology and systems strategy, data, target state design, industry best practices, and deep platform-specific expertise. Work with Industry Lead to build, maintain, and mature capabilities within the industry vertical.
• Delivery Advice: As a billable member on your accounts, advise delivery teams as they design, build, and deliver products for customers. Act as a bridge, providing solution continuity as accounts move from sales, through consulting, and into sustained delivery. Work with delivery teams to ensure alignment and mentor delivery team members as they mature professionally. Sell yourself as a billable resource transitioning from sales support to billable subject matter expert.
