About the role
Position Overview
The Executive Sales Officer will be responsible for sourcing and developing new client relationships, structuring transactions, and partnering with internal teams to deliver tailored financing solutions. This individual will play a key role in expanding market presence, building a strong pipeline, and achieving production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities through direct calling efforts, networking, and referral generation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with middle-market clients and centers of influence
- Develop internal partnerships to uncover financing opportunities with new and existing clients
- Originate equipment finance transactions across a variety of industries and asset classes
- Evaluate transaction opportunities, including client financial position, structure, and overall fit
- Partner closely with credit, documentation, and operations teams to ensure a high level of service and sound risk management
- Manage and grow an active pipeline to meet or exceed annual production and portfolio growth goals
- Maintain awareness of market conditions, competitive dynamics, and changes in client credit quality
- Resolve issues related to transactions, client service, and deal execution in a timely and professional manner
- Operate independently while representing the organization effectively in the marketplace
