Position Description
This is a senior individual contributor role for an executive recruiter who knows how to run a search — independently, rigorously, and to a high standard. Your primary focus will be identifying and closing Senior Sales Executives in the US market for Janea Systems, a premium software engineering consultancy whose clients include Fortune 500 companies. You will also take on other executive-level hires as they arise across the business.
This is not a high-volume role. It is a high-judgement one. The Sales leaders Janea needs are a specific breed — enterprise hunters who can sell complex, bespoke engineering services into technical buyers. You will need to understand that profile deeply, build genuine relationships with passive candidates, and manage a search process that reflects the premium positioning of the company you represent.
What you will be doing
- Own full-cycle executive search for Senior Sales Executive roles in the US market — from brief and scorecard design through sourcing, outreach, assessment, and close
- Take on other executive-level searches across the business as they arise, adapting quickly to new role profiles and stakeholder contexts
- Develop a deep understanding of Janea's business model, client profile, and competitive landscape — and translate that into a compelling pitch for passive senior candidates
- Build and maintain a warm network of Senior Sales and GTM talent in the US technology services space, treating relationship-building as a continuous activity, not a search-triggered one
- Design and execute multi-touch outreach strategies calibrated to senior, passive candidates — personalised, well-researched, and reflective of Janea's premium brand
- Run structured, consistent assessment processes — ensuring every candidate is evaluated against the same criteria and that hiring managers receive clear, evidence-based recommendations
- Manage candidate experience across the full funnel — every interaction, regardless of outcome, should reinforce Janea's reputation in the market
- Track and report on search progress, pipeline health, and market intelligence — providing the Head of Recruitment and relevant stakeholders with clear, timely visibility
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
- Proven track record running senior or executive-level searches independently — ideally including Sales, GTM, or commercial leadership roles in the US technology or professional services market
- Deep familiarity with the US Sales talent market: who the strong profiles are, where they sit, what motivates them to move, and how to reach them
- Ability to own and manage a full search process from briefing to close, with minimal supervision and high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent a premium brand to senior audiences
- Excellent judgment in candidate assessment — able to differentiate between surface-level fit and genuine alignment with role requirements
