The Opportunity
KnowBe4's Chief Growth Officer leads the company's global commercial organization — sales, growth, and go-to-market teams spanning North America, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America — through a defining growth phase. This role is the operational backbone of that office. This role is designed for an experienced operator rather than a traditional support professional: someone who brings structure to ambiguity and returns with a plan and a recommendation. You will operate at the pace of the executive you support, across every time zone the business touches, with a high degree of autonomy and trust. For a candidate seeking deep exposure to how a global commercial organization is built and scaled — with meaningful room to grow within the role — this is a rare opportunity.
What You'll Own
- The operating rhythm of the CGO's office: Treat the calendar as a strategic asset, not a scheduling task. Sequence priorities across global time zones, protect focus time, and ensure every hour maps to what matters most.
- Action items, end to end: Capture commitments from meetings, own the follow-through, drive owners to resolution, and close the loop proactively. You ensure complete follow-through on every commitment.
- Meeting architecture: Prepare agendas, pre-reads, and briefing materials; ensure the CGO walks into every room ready; drive post-meeting execution.
- Ambiguity into plans: When a situation is unstructured, you organize it, form a point of view, and bring back a recommendation with options — then execute the decision.
- Managing up: Exercise independent judgment in protecting the CGO's time: identify overcommitment, question meetings that lack clear purpose, and respectfully decline requests on the CGO's behalf when appropriate. Your mandate is to increase the executive's effectiveness, not simply their activity.
- Complex global travel: Plan and manage multi-city domestic and international travel, adjusting in real time as priorities and schedules shift.
- Force-multiplying the leadership team: The CGO's front-line team (~5 senior leaders) is part of your remit. Know when to zoom in on the CGO's priorities and when to zoom out to coordinate logistics, cadences, and events for the broader group.
- Sensitive and confidential matters: This seat sits close to organizational, compensation, and board-level material, as well as personal logistics. You handle all of it with instinctive, absolute discretion.
- Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with executive operations, the CEO's office, and peer executive assistants across the leadership team to keep the company's senior cadence tight.
