About the role
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end architecture for complex Oracle ERP environments, including Oracle EBS R12.2, Hyperion, Oracle Identity and Access Management, OKTA, OBIEE/Oracle Analytics Server, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable solution designs, architecture documents, reference architectures, and implementation roadmaps.
- Define multi-year technology strategies that support modernization, business growth, compliance, operational efficiency, and reduction of legacy-system complexity.
- Design ERP and adjacent applications for OCI and other cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop hybrid and multi-cloud architecture patterns covering networking, security, APIs, messaging, REST, SOAP, event-driven architectures, SOA, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Identify and architect AI/ML, analytics, automation, and RPA opportunities that can improve enterprise and ERP processes.
- Partner with data and ML engineering teams to establish data pipelines, models, MLOps practices, and reference architectures for AI-enabled solutions.
- Work with data architects on data models, warehouses, data lakes, analytics platforms, data quality, and governance.
- Define and enforce security, privacy, IAM, SSO, encryption, access-control, high-availability, and disaster-recovery strategies aligned with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical workshops, enterprise standards development, portfolio planning, prioritization, and architecture governance activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess technology strategies, perform gap and impact analyses, lead proof-of-concept initiatives, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide technical leadership through solution design, testing, deployment, cutover, hypercare, and continuous optimization.
- Mentor technical teams and help guide the broader organization toward its target enterprise architecture.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 15+ years of experience in technology, infrastructure, and enterprise solution architecture, particularly within large and complex Oracle ERP environments.
- Experience working in federal, large commercial, or similarly complex enterprise IT environments.
- Deep technical knowledge of Oracle EBS, Hyperion, Oracle SOA, IAM, OAS/OBIEE, Oracle RAC, Exadata, and related enterprise technologies.
- Strong infrastructure and application DBA experience supporting large-scale ERP environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security, regulatory compliance, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
- Advanced enterprise, solution, and cloud architecture expertise across OCI and major cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF.
- Strong integration experience across SOA, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging, and cloud integration frameworks.
- Experience with AI/ML, analytics, cloud platforms, MLOps, and business intelligence technologies such as Oracle Analytics Server, Incorta, or comparable platforms.
- Strong ability to develop architecture artifacts, enterprise standards, technical strategies, and multi-year roadmaps.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, consensus-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical, business, client, and vendor teams.
- Experience with Agile delivery, vendor management, and large-scale technology transformation.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance; candidates must have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years and successfully complete a public trust background investigation.
- Willingness to provide limited travel support, with expected travel of less than 10%.
- Base salary range of $170,144–$201,250 per year, with actual compensation determined by experience, geographic location, and applicable contractual requirements.
