Enterprise Database Sales Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with a proven track record in selling Database and Data Analytics solutions with a background in Database Management. This individual utilizes their knowledge in the data world to partner with the Sales team and function as the key technical point of contact for software deals, providing pre-sales support contributing towards the successful conversion of prospects to customers.

• Scoping, defining, and providing demonstrations of solutions
• Executing Proof-of-Concepts with customers and partners
• Gaining understanding of customer business and needs
• Mapping offerings to customer needs
• Providing competitive analysis for successful positioning
• Serving as consultative technical advisor on architecture
• Communicating vision to technical and executive audiences
