Role Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Federal Sales, the Federal Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving new business revenue by identifying new sales opportunities, building sales channels, and closing sales. This role manages the transition from business opportunity to proposal development to award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new sales opportunities and manage activities from identification to award
  • Build sales channels and execute business development activities within the federal government and DoD
  • Identify, cultivate and mature relationships with necessary channels to assist in selling Smarsh products
  • Handle transition from business opportunity to proposal development to award
  • Exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets
  • Enable growth of sales across the public sector
