Responsibilities

• Managing and coaching: You will manage and coach a team of engineers building the tools, pipelines, and workflows that every Phantom engineer (and every AI agent) depends on - spanning CI/CD, local/preview dev environments, code review tooling, and our AI coding infrastructure.
• Technical leadership: You will be a thoughtful technical voice on developer productivity, paved paths, and AI-assisted engineering, and support your team and the broader engineering organization in making diligent architectural decisions about how code gets written, reviewed, and shipped at Phantom.
• Setting direction: You will collaborate with engineers and engineering leadership to turn our DevEx vision into a tangible roadmap grounded in developer productivity and satisfaction signals.
• Team building: You will work with the team to create and foster a culture of raising the bar with each new hire, and of treating internal engineers as customers whose feedback drives what we build next.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years full-time software engineering experience
• Proven track record in leading high-output teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Nice-to-have: 1+ years of experience with a blockchain based product
