About the role
Accountabilities:
- Participate in inception and refinement sessions, helping understand business and technical requirements and define appropriate data solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and improve scalable, performant data pipelines and engineering solutions.
- Use Python and SQL for data engineering, transformation, exploration, and analysis.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data curation to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the evaluation of the quality and accuracy of AI models and data-driven solutions.
- Document analyses, technical decisions, and results, communicating insights effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, sharing knowledge and contributing to the technical development of other professionals.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including Clean Code, Git, version control, CI/CD, and quality assurance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement, reliability, scalability, and performance of data solutions.
- Solid professional experience with Python applied to Data Engineering and Data Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data investigation.
- Experience or working knowledge of Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of cloud environments, particularly Azure or AWS, with an emphasis on data services.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
- Practical experience applying Clean Code and software development best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical solutions to different audiences.
- Analytical, proactive, autonomous, and collaborative mindset, with genuine curiosity and willingness to continuously learn.
- Experience developing or deploying AI/ML solutions.
- Knowledge of LLMs, LangChain, and Prompt Engineering.
- Experience evaluating language models and working with relevant evaluation metrics or frameworks.
- Knowledge of MLflow or experiment-tracking and versioning tools.
- Experience with Data Quality and Data Lineage.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Experience with data annotation and curation tools for AI applications.
