E-Commerce Developer (m/w/d)

About the Role

We are seeking an E-Commerce Developer (m/w/d) with a focus on SAP Commerce to strengthen our Customer Experience and E-Commerce team. You will use technical expertise and initiative to design innovative solutions across the entire customer journey.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement customer-specific software solutions in the commerce environment
• Develop SAP Commerce extensions and add-ons
• Integrate and connect SAP Commerce to existing enterprise applications
• Manage web and interface development as well as backend integrations
• Collaborate with other SAP Commerce developers on B2B and B2C shop systems for clients of various sizes
• Develop high-quality software based on the SAP Commerce stack
• Conduct quality assurance measures such as code reviews within the team
• Continuously improve methods, technologies, and tools

Required Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Java development
• Knowledge of technologies and frameworks such as CI/CD, Spring, Node.js, AspectJ, and Dependency Injection
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as frameworks like React or Angular
• Experience with JSON, XML, design patterns, and Spring MVC
• Experience integrating third-party systems (e.g., PIM systems) via RESTful web services
• Experience working in agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban)
• Analytical and structured working approach
• Team ability and communication skills in customer environments
• Ideally at least 2 years of professional experience in SAP Commerce
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and shell scripting
• Fluent German and English language skills
