About the role
Accountabilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective DSNP Medicare members, providing education, sales guidance, and enrollment assistance.
- Explain Dual Special Needs Plan options clearly, including relevant Medicare and Medicaid benefits, eligibility requirements, and coverage considerations.
- Guide prospective members through the enrollment process while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, empathy, and a service-first approach.
- Build trust with individuals who may be navigating complex healthcare coverage decisions and provide a supportive, consultative experience.
- Meet established performance expectations related to sales goals, conversion rates, call quality, productivity, and schedule adherence.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with supervisors and team members regarding activities, questions, and performance.
- Participate in required team meetings, coaching sessions, training, and continuing development throughout the season.
- Work effectively across multiple software systems and maintain accurate information while handling customer interactions.
- Adapt to changing priorities and maintain a consistent level of service during high-volume enrollment periods.
- Active Health or Health & Life insurance license required.
- At least 1 year of Medicare experience required, with familiarity with DSNP products strongly preferred.
- Previous telesales or contact center experience is an advantage.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to explain complex healthcare concepts in an accessible way.
- Service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport, demonstrate empathy, and establish trust during customer conversations.
- Comfortable working across multiple software platforms with solid basic computer and technology skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
- Willingness to work a production schedule that includes at least one weekend day per week during AEP.
- Ability to complete required background screening.
- Reliable home-office setup that meets the requirements for remote work.
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, adaptability, and ability to perform effectively in a seasonal, high-volume environment.
- Base pay: $18.00 per hour.
