The Role

Systems Engineers at Inngest build the core of the product including the durable execution layer, queueing system, state stores, and distributed systems that connect them together.

Responsibilities

• Work on the queueing system including debounce and concurrency features
• Manage state store handling terabytes to petabytes of storage
• Build API layers connecting distributed systems
• Develop high-level SDKs for users
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and founders to build the best experience

Requirements

• Strong product mindset and interest in developer tools
• Ability to be both a generalist and specialist in systems engineering
• Working time overlap with US PST required
