About the role
The Role
The Director, Partner Ecosystems – APAC, is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing a region‑wide partner ecosystem strategy that directly advances APAC sales and growth objectives. You will lead, inspire, and develop a team of Partner Managers who build and scale a high‑impact ecosystem of VARs, VADs, Service Delivery Partners, System Integrators, and Technology Alliance Partners across a diverse and complex APAC landscape. Reporting to the Vice President, Partner Ecosystems, you will serve as an executive‑level ambassador for BeyondTrust, cultivating strategic partnerships, driving partner performance, and modelling leadership excellence across the region.
What You’ll Do
Visionary Leadership & Team Empowerment
- Provide clear, strategic direction to your team of Partner Managers, aligning them around APAC go‑to‑market priorities and a shared vision of partner‑driven growth.
- Act as a coach and mentor, building leadership capability within the team and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
- Guide your team in executing joint business plans and running effective monthly and quarterly business reviews that influence partner alignment and execution.
Strategic Ecosystem Stewardship
- Architect and execute a bold APAC ecosystem plan that positions BeyondTrust and its partners for long‑term success, while adapting across varied regional markets.
- Build and sustain executive‑level relationships with key partners, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic influencer at the highest levels.
- Cultivate peer‑to‑peer, cross‑organizational relationships to strengthen collaboration, accelerate decision‑making, and broaden partnership impact.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with sales, marketing, and enablement leaders to drive region‑wide alignment, ensuring partners have the resources, insights, and support needed to execute with excellence
- Champion partner needs internally, influencing corporate strategy, enablement priorities, and resource allocation to support APAC goals.
Operational Excellence, Governance & Integrity
- Ensure your team delivers comprehensive partner enablement, including ongoing sales, technical, and certification readiness programs
- Uphold BeyondTrust’s rules of engagement by proactively managing channel conflict, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and promoting transparent communication.
- Drive partner program adoption and enforce adherence to agreements, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance across the region.
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of partner management experience in software security within APAC , demonstrating leadership impact across varied markets
- Successfully built Ecosystems in Australia, India and Southeast Asia
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing high‑performing partner management teams
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue objectives through influence, strategy, and partner execution
- Deep understanding of APAC partner ecosystems and the ability to lead through cultural diversity
- Demonstrated ability to build influential, lasting business relationships at senior and executive levels
- Experience in strategic joint business planning and collaborative execution with partners
