THE ROLE

AG1 is seeking an inspired and passionate Director, Organic Social to lead and evolve how we bring our Brand to life, powering a healthy and performative customer journey through our social media ecosystem. This role will drive channel strategy and objectives, oversee planned and opportunistic/trend-driven channel programming, and lead measurement and optimization efforts in close partnership with our Paid Social team. As the steward of our “second and third homepages,” Instagram and YouTube, this role will bring a channel general manager mindset, ensuring these platforms serve as critical brand and business tentpoles. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will be a key member of the Marketing leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to define and execute organic channel strategies, test new approaches, optimize our current activities and bring data and measurement to our social approach.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Social Strategy & Channel Ownership

  • Lead the strategy, execution, and performance of AG1’s organic social presence across core channels (Instagram, YouTube), while evolving and owning expansion into emerging platforms (TikTok, X, and others).
  • Define a clear POV for each channel’s role in driving broader business goals, establishing specific success metrics (e.g., audience growth, engagement, composition).
  • Evolve AG1’s global social strategy in partnership with regional leads to ensure a cohesive, consistent brand presence across markets.

Content Strategy, Creative, & Programming

  • Develop data-driven, channel-specific strategies that fuel growth and inform high-performing creative and programming.
  • Drive breakthrough, culturally relevant creative that positions AG1 within key conversations (wellness and beyond), including original content, creator/brand partnerships, and standout community interactions.
  • Own the always-on (365) programming calendar, building a social-first content engine in collaboration with Brand and Creative teams to deliver high-quality, high-volume storytelling aligned to key brand and customer moments.
  • Evaluate the content slate and establish a structured framework to continuously refine the content playbook—ensuring alignment with business objectives and resonance with target audiences.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Build and own a comprehensive social measurement framework, tracking performance across platforms to inform strategy and optimize results.
