Director of Technical Product Management - Remote

Overview

Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Savant Labs' platform ecosystem, including SaaS control plane and customer VPC offerings, ensuring enterprise-grade scalability, reliability, security, and performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Technical Product Management experience
• Experience owning platform, infrastructure, developer platform, API, or internal technical products
• Strong understanding of hybrid SaaS architectures with control plane and customer-deployed VPC environments
• Proven experience defining and driving non-functional requirements including performance, reliability, security, scalability, and observability
• Track record of delivering complex platform roadmaps and driving measurable outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management across engineering, product, and business teams
• Technical fluency to understand architecture, dependencies, migrations, technical debt, and platform trade-offs
• Experience operating in fast-paced startup environments
• Exposure to enterprise or regulated environments such as SOX, SOC, finance, or compliance-heavy domains
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be comfortable working with significant overlap with US East Coast teams and be available until approximately 2:30 AM IST

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously raise the platform quality bar across performance, reliability, security, scalability, and observability
• Define and execute the platform product roadmap aligned with business and customer needs
• Gather requirements from application teams and VPC customers and translate them into actionable product requirements
• Prioritize platform investments, technical debt reduction, and application team requests
• Act as the single point of ownership for platform demand and prioritization
• Drive roadmap execution and manage cross-functional dependencies
• Communicate roadmap priorities, trade-offs, and strategic decisions to stakeholders
• Partner closely with architecture and engineering teams to shape platform direction
• Ensure platform capabilities support long-term scalability and enterprise readiness
• Drive predictable product delivery and operational excellence
