About the role
Accountabilities
- Define and execute the product marketing strategy across the portfolio and priority industries, aligning positioning and messaging with business objectives and product roadmaps.
- Own messaging architecture, value propositions, industry positioning, buyer narratives, and competitive differentiation across products and markets.
- Gather and analyze customer, market, competitive, and win/loss insights, translating findings into recommendations that influence product, marketing, and business strategy.
- Lead go-to-market strategy for new products, capabilities, programs, and strategic initiatives from early planning through launch, optimization, and measurement.
- Establish repeatable launch processes covering target audiences, positioning, readiness requirements, ownership, timelines, and success metrics.
- Equip Sales and Customer Success teams with personas, messaging, competitive intelligence, content, training, and other tools that strengthen customer conversations and revenue outcomes.
- Partner with Growth and Demand Generation teams to turn positioning and product narratives into campaigns that increase awareness, pipeline, adoption, and market impact.
- Lead PR strategy and agency relationships, including media relations, thought leadership, launch communications, industry events, speaking opportunities, awards, and webinars.
- Develop customer advocacy programs including case studies, testimonials, customer stories, video content, and recognition initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop the product marketing team and contractors while establishing clear priorities, operating rhythms, performance standards, and measures of success.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Growth, and executive leadership to ensure strong alignment between market needs, product strategy, and commercial execution.
- 10+ years of progressive B2B product marketing experience, including at least 4 years of experience leading and developing teams.
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS, technology, EdTech, workforce development, industrial technology, or a related environment.
- Demonstrated success developing product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies across multiple products, markets, or industry verticals.
- Strong ability to translate complex technology and technical products into compelling buyer value, differentiated messaging, and effective sales enablement.
- Track record of leading complex, cross-functional product launches from strategic planning through execution, optimization, and measurement.
- Strong expertise in market intelligence, competitive research, customer insights, and win/loss analysis, with the ability to turn research into actionable business recommendations.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and diverse cross-functional teams.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution and the ability to turn high-level strategy into measurable outcomes.
- Strong leadership and people-development skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust, establish alignment, and develop high-performing teams.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and sound judgment in a fast-moving environment where priorities and markets continue to evolve.
- Candidates must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
- Willingness to complete required post-offer background checks, drug and alcohol screening, and applicable employment, education, credential, or other verifications.
- Nice-to-have experience includes marketing to skilled trades, industrial, manufacturing, facilities, education, or workforce development organizations.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Allego, or market intelligence tools is a plus.
- Experience marketing products involving AI, VR, simulations, hardware, or other emerging technologies is also advantageous.
- Competitive compensation: $160,000–$180,000 annual salary, with final compensation based on experience and demonstrated impact.
